Danielle (Dani) Berger (she/her/hers) is a Masters of Science (MS) student in Forest Ecosystems and Society at Oregon State University. Dani is broadly interested in understanding the complexities of forest management decisions and perceptions of these decisions. Dani is especially interested in understanding how social and economic aspects contribute to forest management decisions. At Oregon State, she studies outdoor recreationists’ attitudes towards and perceptions of forest management in western Oregon. Dani has a BS in both Forestry and Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from the University of Vermont. During her undergraduate years, she studied invasive zebra mussels in Lake Champlain and the distribution and efficacy of salmonid restoration projects in the Grand Ronde River Basin in eastern Oregon.
