Ann M. Little is Professor of History at Colorado State University where she teaches about early North American history, women’s history, environmental history, and the history of sexuality. She is the author of Abraham in Arms: War and Gender in Colonial New England (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2007), and The Many Captivities of Esther Wheelwright (Yale University Press, 2016). She is at work on her third book, Natural Women: Nature, Maternity, and Liberty after the Revolution.
