Melody Mount is a graduate student at the University of Tennessee, an ISA Certified Arborist, a SAF CCF, and a SAF CUCF. She grew up in Indiana and first discovered her passion for trees by going to work with her father at a woodworking factory. She continued to pursue this passion, and earned a Bachelor's of Science in Atmospheric Science from Purdue University, a Master's of Natural Resources from Auburn University, a Master's of Science in Forestry at the University of Tennessee, and she continued at the University of Tennessee where she is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy in Natural Resources.
